The Bowen Association is gathering items for the Georgia Baptist Children's Home in Baxley. This year's requested items are canned chicken, individual snack packs (i.e. single serve chips/crackers/cakes), drink mixes, 5 or 10 pound bags of sugar, hot sauces, salad dressings (anything except ranch), cans of mixed vegetables, non-aerosol bathroom/kitchen cleaners (can be pump or spray bottles), and Wal-Mart gift cards. Items for need to be brought to the Bowen Center no later than Thursday, August 6 at noon. The trailer will be loaded the next morning, Friday, August 7.
