Director of Missions . . . . . .

Dear Co-laborers in Christ,

What a joy it is to have another year to serve our Lord together. In I Corinthians, Paul links the churches of Galatia together by geographical area. We can do so much more for the Lord when we join in together with our efforts. I rejoice in each church that we have in Bowen Association. Each one is a blessing in its own way. All of our churches are different in some way, but our goal in reaching the lost is the same.

We need to constantly be in prayer for each one of our sister churches. At this time we still have six churches without pastors. I do not believe God has failed to call enough men to pastor his churches, but I do believe that many have failed to answer his call. I hear men say all the time, “I don’t think I could pastor a church or even be a preacher”. Brethren, it is not what you are capable of doing but what can be done through you if you will only let him have your life. I have had men tell me they are called, yet they are more interested in the things they want to do rather than what God wants them to do. Yet, there are men in our Association whose health is not good, yet they continue to try to help our churches. Please
make this problem a matter of prayer in your church.

Bride of Christ is enjoying their building and are rejoicing over the baptistery that has been donated. Also, they have had given to them a microwave oven and range hood, and a refrigerator. Praise the Lord. I am so grateful to all the  churches and individuals that have had a part in the mission effort. Please be praying as they still need (6) round tables for the fellowship hall. This is doing the Great Commission right here in Southwest Georgia. What a privilege to have a part in God’s great work.

Please pray with us as we seek to see souls saved this year. Let us pray diligently for people to come to Christ. The fields are white unto harvest, but the laborers are few! I am praying
that God will burden the hearts of all of our churches in reaching out to the lost. Let’s go SOUL-WINNING!

I want to thank the churches for praying for Brenda. She is doing some better and has even started her Bible study back at the Harvest House of Hope. We are so grateful for all of the concern shown and the love that has been extended to us in this time.

Please keep praying for us as we continue to serve with you all in the Bowen Association. We are so thankful that God has put us here.

Your servants in the Lord,
Bro. Ken and Ms. Brenda
