"There is no promotion above the will of God"

Evang. Junior Hill

Director of Missions . . . . . .

Praise the Lord for his continued blessings. There have been great reports on VBS with many being saved. Amen! In preaching the homecoming at Antioch with Pastor Jerry Harrell we had the joy of seeing a young man come to Christ.  Then the next week a young lady from the Lighthouse children’s home was saved in a revival I preached at the Lighthouse. The fields are white unto harvest. Let’s go soul winning.

I want to thank those who have contributed to the building of Bride of Christ. We are very close to getting them in the building. The last step will be putting in the parking lot. Please pray for the Lord to meet that need. What a blessing to see the
different churches who have stepped up and helped with this project.

In II Corinthians 1:11, we read, “ye also helping
together by prayer for us that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.” When churches pray together for the work of the Lord and participate together for our Lord, then many will praise the Lord as many will be reached through the cooperative effort. What a blessing it would be to all 41 churches in Bowen Association if they could just catch the vision for what we can all do together versus trying to do it by ourselves. Associational togetherness is a blessing if we don’t care who gets the praise but rather give all the glory to God.

We had a great Southwest Georgia Regional Sunday School clinic this year. While the attendance was down, what we received was a great blessing and many expressed how much they were blessed by this year’s group of speakers.

Please keep Brenda and me in your prayers as we continue to serve with you all here in SW Ga. We thank God for the privilege of working with you.

Your servants in the Lord,
Bro. Ken and Brenda Cloud
